Overview
This inhibitor is centred on calcium nitrite. Through oxidation it keeps a dense passive film on the rebar surface and competitively reacts when chloride intrudes, delaying corrosion initiation — an effective measure for durability in chloride environments.

Usage
Dosage set by chloride exposure and design life; combine with low w/c and good cover. Calcium nitrite is oxidative — avoid mixing with ammonia or strong reducers, and store/transport per routine hazardous-chemical practice.
